The name "HexiBase" is an old pseudonym under which I've produced a lot of music and maintained a number of blogs. It is derived from base-16; a form of hexadecimal notation used in many of the software sequencers which have initially sparked my interest in music production.

The purpose of this web site is to serve as the central hub, relaying my personal and professional interests, accomplishments, and philosophy. Launched in October, 2003, hexibase.com has existed in one form or another for over five years, mainly as an electronic music production web site but, more recently, it has come to accentuate many of my other facets such as acoustics and literature.

Yes; with all the virgin eyes and ears out there, I do feel like the content of my web site warrants a degree of foretoken, but not so much toward the minors as toward a certain class of grown men and women who--unlike most children--wield the open-mindedness of a toilet brush. To you, I'd like to extend my kindest words of farewell as you return to whatever puritan web site you were surfing before this one popped up, unwittingly compromising your sanitized internet experience.
